Calcium Carbonate (Calcite - CaCO3) is one of the most widely used raw materials on earth. It is one of the main ingredients used for the production of cement. The global production of cement is about 2 billion tonnes per annum.

  1. Paper – approx 35 million tonnes per annum;
  2. Plastics – 60% by weight volume in fillers and reinforcements;
