Dr Cecily Rasmussen - Executive Director - Senior Scientist

PhD BA (Hons 1 Geomorphology)

Dr Rasmussen is an environmental geomorphologist with over 16 years experience in marine, coastal, river and aquaculture studies.  Dr Rasmussen has specialised in environmentally significant issues including coastal erosion, industrial and urban impacts on river systems, large scale movement of sediments to the Great Barrier Reef, and the retrieval and interpretation of geochemical records from coral skeletal material.  She has been contracted/retained to provide professional advice to the private sector and to Local, State and Federal Governments, and has published more than 6 comprehensive academic papers.
